Scribing is the secret to getting nice tight joints wherever odd shapes or uneven surfaces meet. Scribing done with a dime-store compass, or a block of wood and pencil, yields results that are often less than satisfactory.
AccuScribe Pro makes it easy to maintain a consistent scribe offset due to the wide, flat back and articulating pencil holder. The adjustable head even allows you to scribe the back of molding and trim! But, as they say on TV, there’s more: insert a compass pin into the tip and Accuscribe Pro can draw up to 24” diameter circles (using a long pencil), use the marking gage lip to layout cut lines, or use the built-in sharpen to get a nice point on your pencil.
The Accuscribe from FastCap scribes cabinet trim, architectural moldings, countertops, tile and more for cleaner cuts and more creative freedom on a wide variety of projects.
The Accuscribe maintains consistent scribe offset and stays parallel to surfaces as you mark out the pattern or cut-- a great feature for installing splash guards, cutting tile, and designing floors.
The device's adjustable grip locks standard-size pencils tightly in place. The AccuScribe is made of heavy-duty, indestructible polymer for years of reliable use. The unit's articulating pencil head increases flexibility for scribing over a wide variety of materials and textures. A removable compass point makes it easy to scribe circles and circular patterns. A handy storage clip for the compass point ensures optimal safety and longer compass life. The AccuScribe's non-rocking bottom keeps the unit flat against the surface or wall for flush contact with the pencil tip. The tool collapses to a compact size to take up less room in the toolbox.
The Accuscribe measures 5-3/4 by 4-13/16 inches when fully extended (length by height).
